May is definitely one of my favorite months in Kalamazoo, because spring finally makes an appearance, and the outdoors opens up. Though it does suck that almost everyone else is already out of school or leaving school for the summer during May. But don’t freak, there’s a lot to do around this area. Here are just a couple cool sounding things, feel free to add other events or ideas as you like.
May 2 - Art Hop - Downtown Kalamazoo
May 10 - Flight of the Concords (Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor)
May 16 - Jerry Seinfeld (Fox Theatre Detroit)
- Go to the Arboretum or the Nature Center
- Bike/walk/run on the Kal Haven Trail
- Get some musical instruments and some other people and jam out on the Quad
